C:\Users\matt_\OneDrive\Claude\_notes\notes.md. Unlike memory (which Claude manages automatically), notes are saved explicitly when you ask. Use them for anything you might need to look up later — credentials, server details, configuration values, reference data.

Base network config — Virgin Hub (router mode, Wi-Fi off, DHCP on) → main switch → Orbi AP. In progress.
Virgin Media broadband. Virgin Hub: standard router mode, Wi-Fi OFF, DHCP ON. Handles all routing and IP assignment.
Orbi mesh: Access Point (AP) mode — Wi-Fi only, no DHCP. No double NAT.
Main switch: 10/100 → replacing with TP-Link TL-SG108S × 2 (ordered 2026-06-24).
Lounge switch: TP-Link TL-SG108S (one of the two above).
Cat6a 25m outdoor kit ordered — hallway → outside → lounge near Sky Q.
Lounge wired devices (planned): Sky Q, Sony KD55A8, Sonos Beam, Apple TV 4K (new model pending).

Review the Apple TV app / TV Launcher on the lounge Sony KD55A8 (2020 OLED). Check whether it provides a useful interface for switching between Sky Q (HDMI 2) and Apple TV 4K (HDMI 3) inputs. Assess usability as a home screen launcher for the lounge setup.
