Two Damage Areas — Three Quotes Requested

Area 1 — Main body UV oxidation (sides, excluding rear door)

Fibreglass (GRP) surface has faded and oxidised from UV exposure. Surface polishing has been attempted previously and did not resolve it. Seeking a paint solution — respray or equivalent.

Area 2 — Rear door surface damage (bottom left corner)

Surface damage in the bottom left corner of the rear barn door caused by a recent service sticker. No UV damage on this panel. Seeking a paint repair to restore the affected area.

Hi,

I'm hoping you might be able to help. I have a 2018 Debon Cargo 1300 box trailer (black fibreglass body) that needs some paint repairs. I'm not after a perfect finish — I'd just like to improve the overall appearance.

There are two separate areas of damage and I'd appreciate individual quotes for each, plus a combined price if you're willing to take on both:

Quote 1 — Main body	The main fibreglass panels (sides, excluding rear door) have significant UV oxidation — the surface has faded and gone chalky. I've previously had it polished but this didn't resolve the issue. Looking for a paint solution — respray or similar.
Quote 2 — Rear door	The bottom left corner of the rear barn door has surface damage from a recent service sticker. Looking for a paint repair to restore that area.
Quote 3 — Full job	A combined price if you're willing to take on both areas together.

We do not carry out smart repairs, only high quality body shop repairs. To remove all the decals and repair + refinish the full trailer box excluding the rear barn door I would estimate the cost in the region of £1,700 + VAT. To repair just the barn door would be £795 + VAT. Or everything together would be £2,400 + VAT. We would need the trailer for around one to two weeks. Currently booking from 2nd June onwards.
